100 colors No. 12 @ GINZA, TOKYO

Starting at no.12 of her 100 colors series, Emmanuelle revealed “I Am Here” – an installation that uses centimeter-level measurement accuracy of the Quasi-Zenith Sattelite System (QZSS) as a motif! Focusing strongly on bringing the perspective back to Earth, it has three silhouettes (two girls and a cat) lost inside 18,000 silhouettes of women in 100 shades of colors, encouraging visitors to search and spot them!

The most recent art installation of the series, NSK Ltd. celebrated its 100th anniversary with an exhibition themed “SETTING THE FUTURE IN MOTION” held at Omotesando Spiral. Here, Emmanuelle presented 25,200 flower motifs taking a space that’s 6 meters high, rotating with NSK bearings and windmills! In the middle, visitors can immerse themselves in color at the ciruclar empty space...

100 colors No. 13 @ KABUKICHO CINE CITY PLAZA, TOKYO

Another one in Tokyo, Emmanuelle was part of Shinjuku Creators Festa 2016 where she juxtaposed her harmony of “100 colors” to the chaotic “sleepless town” of Tokyo. Especially chosen for this purpose, she overlapped the huge crowds of Kabukicho Cine City Plaza with thinly sliced pieces of hand-dyed fabrics in 100 shades of colors; transforming the atmosphere among the huge crowds.
