With 2016 coming to a close, let’s look back on all the fashion-forward designs making the coolest footwear statements. Slides

The winner, the one shoe that almost everyone (as well as their mothers and sisters) want is the fantastic footwear @gucciofficial released, that is of the shearling-lined backless loafers (with, or without fur). With its slide silhouette making it easy to slip on, and its horsebit hardware adding polish and shine to the quirky style, it makes for such a chic eye-catching footwear. 

Satin Everything

Another shoe that’s been having a huge moment this year is probably the satin mules; or satin everything, really. Remember when your go-to comfortable shoes were your ballet flats, before you tried your first heels? We’ve embraced this classic style once again this year, which is good for those seeking a more feminine flat; a polish and elegant option that will allow your calves to rest. We are currently obsessed with @paulandrew, or those by @miumiu and @maisonvalentino! Feel like Audrey Hepburn, strolling through parisian streets. 

Embellished Heels

Heel shapes are getting more wonderful by each upcoming season! Some thick, some thin, but none of the average heels. There’s been a trend for sculptured heels since 2015, and lucky for us – they keep on getting better! Whether it’s pearl-laced heels by @chanelofficial, or intricately-designed chandelier heels by @dolcegabbana and crystal encrusted @miumiu, you’ll surely be turning heads.
