When you hear the expression “find your happy place,” what usually comes to mind? For some, an exquisite holiday destination comes to mind. For others, it might be a series of insta-worthy themed installations. If you fall to the latter category, then We Are Happy Place might be the place for you. Explore a 20,000 sqf space filled with mood-boosting sights, and go on a journey filled with smiles and laughter for all.
Outdoors, replenish yourselves with lemonades and popsicles, play some lawn games or shop at @wearehappyplace ‘s retail store. Anyone care to try their Rainbow Grilled Cheese? Drool.
Blow out the candles off of a giant birthday cake, or jump from a rainbow bridge into a pot of gold and feel like a leprechaun. Enter the “Paradise Room” for sculptures designed by artist Steven Harrington, or bathe in 500,000 pieces of confetti in the world’s largest confetti dome!
@eylulsavasWhilst there’s plenty of rooms to choose from at We Are Happy Place, your photo-editing skills will truly be tested in those with unflattering lighting (*cough* very unmerry birthday room *cough*). Somewhat like an anti-“Infinity Mirrors” installation by Yayoi Kusuma, the reflective art installations may never had selfies in mind… But regardless, these illuminated chambers definitely make for an incredibly photogenic portrait with the simple press of a shutter button.
We Are Happy Place is just one of many Instagram-worthy specialty exhibitions that have recently popped-up in the region.
