Toss in that unique combination of year-round temperate weather, and you’ve got what makes for a fantastic experience in the outdoors… For those going to Coachella: you’re bound to depart the fabled fairgrounds at some point, so here’s a couple of places to check out!
BIRBA - Sleek, open-air bar, a gorgeous outdoor patio, serving farm-to-table fares that rival your favorite pizzas in LA, try @birbaps for their excellent Italian cuisine. With wild variations of wood-fired pizza, homemade pasta offerings and delicious cocktails, be sure to be back at least twice! Hands down – a great starting point for a night out on Palm Canyon. Prepare yourselves for a lively courtyard atmosphere as you stuff yourselves under the stars.
Workshop Kitchen + Bar - It’s been a couple of years for @workshopkitchenbar, but its gargantuan communal table is always full. With “industrial chic” décor and farm-to-table focus on local ingredients and craft cocktails, they still stand far above the rest. Located inside a ridiculous all-concrete chapel, the food stays up to par with an equally impressive taste. With an ever-changing menu, you’re bound to feel inspired at every bite. Duck Fat Fries with sea salt, anyone?
@flmsbyeddie From omelets, over-the-top French toasts and crepes with Nutella (or ham and gruyere if savory is more of your thing), to a Spanish breakfast with eggs and polenta. Take your pick! Find this hidden gem tucked away in La Plaza for that Provencal feel with your meal.
Farm Palm Springs - Care to pair your brekkie with booze? Order from a brunch-y cocktail menu with curious concoctions, like a bacon-garnished Bloody Mary and a gin-basil cocktail at @farm.palmsprings !
Farm Palm Springs (@s.moody.isaac) NORMA'S - Ever had an award-winning potato pancake before? Me neither, but you’ve got to try it at Norma’s. Located inside the kitschy-chic @parkerpalmsprings, the beautiful 70s-inspired restaurant is set up with white Bertoia chairs and colorful cushions, with a patio surrounded by vast gardens. Make it a point to visit this place at least once for breakfast, if not for the perfect décor. There’s even a section in the menu called “Mom Can’t Make This.” LOL
On that note, let’s take a closer look at the stunning @parkerpalmsprings. A stylish oasis with towering palm trees, landscaped gardens and an impressive golf course, what’s not to like? A gorgeous establishment that epitomizes desert modernism, designer @jonathanadler transformed the place into an art form… Soak your skins at one of the hydrotherapy pools after all that three-days-worth of dust, and lounge on the diamond-tufted leather banquette under mirrored ceilings.
Parker Palm Springs 
Korakia Pensione Restored in 1989, the Mediterranean-style resort @korakia boasts two villas consisting of bungalows, guesthouses, gardens and pools. Be welcomed at the grand entrance with a set of ornately carved Moorish double doors, with furniture and antiques that blend harmoniously with that oasis vibe of the Californian desert. With citrus blossoms, olive trees, bougainvillea vines and stone waterfalls, expect to relive that artistic ambiance of their halcyon days.
