RITZ CARLTON LAKE CLUB

Who’s still not ready to say bye to Summer

Who’s still not ready to say bye to Summer? Not sure if you could squeeze in a bit of vacay before Fall settles in, but an exclusive club has made its place at Lake Tahoe- and we’re not the only ones who want to join. Made available only to the guests who stay at the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe, a short shuttle ride is all it takes to reach a luxurious waterfront that will call your name.

As for the interior, a contemporary design was chosen – including elements such as Turquoise and white accent lighting that reflect (and suits) perfectly to the water and (in the winter) snow outdoors! Art aficionados are also in for a treat, as many creations by both renowned and local artists sprinkle the walls of the club.

Drawing upon the property’s naturally awe-striking surroundings of the picturesque lake and mountains of Northern California, principal architect Clare Walton and designer Jennifer Loving of Walton Architecture + Engineering (Walton AE) chose materials and colors that befits the vibe. By using natural materials like ledgestone, walnut and cedar wood, one gets that comforting and grounding feeling that warms up their hearts – paying homage to the mountains at the same time. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows?

A designated private boat pier is your platform for all your summer recreational water activities; and that’s just one of the amenities. Provided by the Tahoe Adventure Company and Action Water Sports Tahoe Vista, activities such as wave runners, luxury boat rentals, parasailing, waterskiing, wake-surfing, charter-fishing, and more are on offer! On land, rest up in an outdoor spa, or spend some quality time around the fire pits with fellow guests.

“Our intention is to create a space that complements the rugged landscape with a clean, modern aesthetic,” said principal architect of Walton AE, Clare Walton. “The transparency of our design allows guests to connect immediately with the setting, and flow seamlessly between interior and exterior social gathering spaces.” It is truly a one-of-a-kind luxury resort experience that includes both direct access to the mountain and to the lake. Impressive.
