Kaws Holiday
Floating ArtBrian Donnelly is a New York-based pop artist and designer known for his signature limited edition vinyl toys, KAWS. Started off his career as a graffiti artist, his creations are recognised on billboards, bus stops, and phone booths. KAWS has designed and collaborated with the likes of Original Fake, A Bathing Ape, Undercover, Medicom Toy, Supreme, Nike, Comme des Garcons, NIGO, Jun Takahashi and Michael “Mic” Neumann to name a few.
At this time, Kaws is presenting sculpture is the largest reclining companion ever, called The KAWS: HOLIDAY. Once again the project has been created in collaboration with AllRightsReserved and centers around a colossal KAWS companion figure. By colossal, we really mean… Colossal.

(@marieclaire_hk) After leaving its mark in Seoul and Taipei, KAWS : HOLIDAY installation will soon be arriving in the city of Hong Kong. The massive 37-meter KAWS : HOLIDAY Companion will be a floating piece of art placed at the city’s iconic Victoria Harbour from March 22 to 31, 2019.
You’ll also be able to cop a series of limited-edition collectibles, created in collaboration with AllRightsReserved, including a soft toy pack, a limited edition bath toy, and a “Hong Kong Stop” T-Shirt and tote bag. There is also a 170cm floating bed “for KAWS fans to enjoy the floating sensation themselves.” The plush set features three 20 inches KAWS Companion stuffed dolls done in the artist’s signature black, white and brown color schemes. Additionally, the plushes feature bendable appendages which offer an array of pose options. Limited to 2000 units, each set will come in a special numbered KAWS : HOLIDAY Hong Kong box.
