KRABI PROVINCE

Thailand

Ahh, the Andaman seas… Be lost in a daze as many of the travelers in the Krabi province do, as you dwell in the waters where karst formations spike up along the coast like giant pawns on the beach. Stay tuned to some of the sights to see there!

Tiger Cave Temple

Its ports situated among majestically angular limestone karsts jutting from the mangroves, the key transport hub of Krabi town is a busy scene that continues to evolve. For those keen to start off their adventure with culture, or would like to go to a lookout, overcome the obstacle of 1260-steps up the staircase leading up to a 600-metre karst peak, where you’ll find a golden Buddha statue, overlooking spectacular views out to the sea beyond Ao Nang!

Ko Phi Phi Don,-

Just 38-kilometres southwest of Krabi, the pretty islands of Ko Phi-Phi Don can be called Thailand’s very own Shangri La; a hedonistic paradise for tourists to submerge themselves in azure seas, party from dawn ‘til dusk, and be lost in exploration of their lush jungles… Go to the island’s more isolated eastern coast, where you’ll find sensationally unpolluted snow-white coves and sandy beaches!

Hin Daeng & Hin Muang

The fun is at the two underwater pinnacles far off the coast of Koh Lanta, where sister dive sites Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are probably the best to see in Thailand. Drop down into the water and experience an explosion of color, with schools of fish swimming among the red and purple-hued soft tree corals.

Just an eyeshot of Phi-Phi, the charming Koh Lanta remains as the more calm and culturally-rich sibling to the many islands around.

Tha Pom; Khlong Song Nam - Observe nature at its finest at the Tha Pom Khlong Song Nam, located right at the edge of the Andaman sea tide lines where the waters rotate from brackish to fresh, and transform from slightly murky to emerald-green clarity... As you watch the water miraculously turn crystal clear, various vegetation thrive around it. A complete 180-degrees from the hustle and bustle of parties and overcrowding of tourists, this peaceful pleasure is oh so pleasant.
